TUITION + FEES ACADEMIC YEAR 2009-2010, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2010
Students matriculating at NSAD on or after Oct. 1, 2007:
- $7,300 per quarter for full-time status (12 to 18 units per quarter)
- $635 per quarter unit over 18 units per quarter
- $635 per quarter unit for part-time status (less than 12 units per quarter)
- $6,350 per quarter for full-time status (12 to 18 units per quarter)
- $550 per quarter unit over 18 units per quarter
- $550 per quarter unit for part-time status (less than 12 units per quarter)
- $7,000 per quarter for full-time status (12 to 18 units per quarter)
- $600 per quarter unit over 18 units per quarter
- $600 per quarter unit for part-time status (less than 12 units per quarter)
Per quarter, non-refundable fees:
| Student Operations $125 includes: Studio, Lab, Copy and Printing Fees, School Access and ID Card, Library and Career Services, Student Activity Fee |
Health Insurance* *Rates for student health insurance for 2010–2011 are currently being negotiated, and will be updated as soon as the premium basis is determined. |
Accident Insurance $7 full-year coverage includes summer quarter with fee payable fall, winter and spring quarters. |
*Health insurance plan applies to students enrolled in 6 credits or more. Fee will be waived for students who demonstrate proof of alternate coverage. Accident insurance is required for all students regardless of number of units taken or approved waiver from NSAD policy.

NewSchool of Architecture & Design reserves the right to review and modify tuition and fees prior to each academic year and will attempt to give notification of changes at least sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of classes (this does not include non-refundable application fee).
