This program gives future architects the opportunity to earn a first professional degree accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). You'll leave the program equipped with what may be one of the important prerequisites for obtaining licensure in your state (completion of a five-year program) and well prepared for a position with an architecture or design firm.
The program requires five years of full-time study totaling 235 required credits:

Note on Licensure and Accreditation
Many states accept work experience in lieu of a degree from a NAAB-accredited program. We encourage students to consult the appropriate state agency to determine specific requirements.
In the United States, most state registration boards require a degree from an accredited professional degree program as a prerequisite for licensure. The National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), which is the sole agency authorized to accredit U.S. professional degree programs in architecture, recognizes three types of degrees: the Bachelor of Architecture, the Master of Architecture, and the Doctor of Architecture. A program may be granted a 6-year, 3-year, or 2-year term of accreditation, depending on the extent of its conformance with established educational standards.
