Vivian Sanchez is the CEO of Laureate Education Arts, Architecture and Design Universities. Her professional background includes senior administrative positions within higher educational institutions and diverse global sectors. Prior to joining Laureate, as president of Whitney University System, Sanchez led a university network consisting of over 65,000 students across five higher education institutions. She formerly served as chief financial officer and senior vice president of administration at Florida International University—one of the 25 largest public research universities in the United States—and was advisor to the president of Cleveland State University. Sanchez has broad international operational experience, having led organizational expansions into diverse markets in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. She earned her M.B.A. at Harvard Business School and her B.S. in Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
Denise DeZolt, Ph.D.

Dr. Denise Dezolt brings a range of expertise in higher education through teaching and academic positions as well as administrative leadership posts. She is currently the Chief Academic Officer at Laureate Education, Global Products and Services, and previously served as Chief Academic Officer & Senior Vice President at Walden University. She also served as the iinstitution’s Dean for the College of Social, Behavioral, and Health Sciences and the School of Psychology. Additionally, she held teaching and academic positions at the University at Albany, Lewis and Clark College, University of Rhode Island, and Illinois State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Kent State University, M.S. in Education Counseling from University of Dayton, and B.A. in Behavioral Sciences from Plattsburgh State University. Her areas of expertise include graduate and distance education, psychology, multiculturalism, and diversity in higher education.
Charles O. Heller, Ph.D.

Dr. Charles O. Heller is President of Annapolis Capital Group, a management consulting fand investment firm. At the same time, he is a writer and Professor of Practice/Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland Smith School of Business. Previously, he was Director and Investment Committee Chair of Athlone Global Security, an international venture capital firm investing in early-stage companies in the homeland security sector. From 2000 to 2003, Dr. Heller was General Partner of Gabriel Venture Partners, an early-stage, bi-coastal, venture capital fund. He has been very active in the Mid-Atlantic business community for many years as a successful entrepreneur, investor, board member, and mentor to many of the region's entrepreneurial companies. For ten years, he was President of the Baltimore-Washington Venture Group, an angel investor network. Dr. Heller received B.S. and M.S. degrees from Oklahoma State University and a Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America, all in engineering.
Thomas Anglewicz, FAIA
Thomas M. Anglewicz was Principal in Charge of HMC Architects until retiring in 2010. Prior to joining HMC Architects, Anglewicz was Urban Studio Director for Austin Veum Robbins Partners’ San Diego-based office. Through his extensive involvement with the Downtown San Diego Partnership and other community organizations, Anglewicz has been a vocal advocate for the creative redevelopment of San Diego’s downtown core and waterfront lands since the early 1990s. From 1995 to 2005 Anglewicz was a principal with the MW Steele Group, where he provided firm leadership for public, institutional and urban design projects. Among other efforts, he was a key member of the planning and urban design team responsible for the original North Embarcadero Visionary Plan in 1997. The following are some of the major projects in San Diego for which Anglewicz was responsible: Coronado Public Library – Coronado, California; California Western School of Law Library – San Diego, California; UCSD Faculty Club – La Jolla, California; The Bayview – San Diego, California.
Marvin Malecha, FAIA

Award-winning architect Marvin Malecha is Dean of the College of Design at North Carolina State University. Malecha’s many honors include the 2007 James Haecker Distinguished Leadership Award for Architectural Research from the board of the Architectural Research Centers Consortium (ARCC), and the national William R. and June Dale Prize for Excellence in Urban Planning in 2008 from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Malecha also received the prestigious Topaz Medallion for Excellence in Architectural Education from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) in 2003. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA), and he has served on the National Architectural Accrediting Board and the California Council of Architectural Education. Prior to becoming Dean of the College of Design at North Carolina State University in 1994, Malecha was Dean of the College of Environmental Design at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a former president of the AIA and a former president of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University

Norman Bloomberg serves as Divisional Vice President of Global Enrollment and Business Development for Laureate Online Education. His previous leadership background includes positions in the financial and educational sector, including Divisional Vice President of Enrollment Management at Walden University, Vice President of Marketing Communications at Mindsurf Networks, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for ASPECT Languages Schools and VP of Internet Banking for Citibank. He holds an MBA and a B.S. from New York University.
Sharen Hannah, Esquire

Sharen Hannah is president of Mettron Contracting, Inc. and works with the design team of Baycrest+Mettron, a Construction Management Joint Venture on the Florida A&M University Gore Education Complex Renovation and Remodeling Project. She is a civil engineer, attorney and entrepreneurial professional whose 29 years of experience and multi-disciplinary skills include small businesses and local organizational management and construction management. She worked for Florida Power and Light Company for 13 years as a Senior Distribution Designer, Construction Service Engineer and a Minority Business Specialist. She served as Director of Public Works in the State of Florida, and was active in working with the community on issues related to capital improvement projects, redevelopment, and recycling. In 2002, she and her husband Caleb E. Hannah, III founded Mettron Contracting, Inc. She is a native of Miami, Florida, and has degrees from the University of Florida School of Civil Engineering and School of Law.

Yen Ha is a founding principal of Front Studio, established in 2001 in New York City. She completed her undergraduate work with honors and continued with postgraduate work in urbanism at L’École d’Architecture in Paris, France. Fluent in French and Vietnamese, Yen is a LEED accredited professional and a licensed architect. She has been profiled in the New York Daily News, Real Estate Weekly and the Mann Report. Her recent work has been featured in Interior Design, Icon Magazine, Wallpaper and the New York Times. Yen has been a panelist at Catholic University, the Academy of Arts in Gdansk, Poland, the AIA Center for Architecture in New York City and at Carnegie Mellon University.
